The Boulders Pickleball Association ("BPA")
Join your friends and neighbors every Monday, Wednesday & Friday morning for our 2-hour Open Play, sponsored by the Boulders Pickleball Association.
To participate, the first step is to register on “Playtime Scheduler” (the App we use for pickleball). The App is free and once you sign up you’ll also be included as a member of the Boulders Pickleball Association (BPA), which is also free.
Here’s how. To register on Playtime follow these steps:
1. Download the Playtime Scheduler App and follow the directions to register.
2. Once you are registered, send an email to Carolyn Butler at [email protected] letting her know the email you used to register so that she can add you both to the Playtime player list and as a Boulders Pickleball Association member.
3. When you’re ready to play, sign up for Open Play by going to the Playtime Scheduler App and adding your name to the day you’d like to play; when you come to play, check in at the front desk, come down to the courts, and introduce yourself as a new player…we’ll welcome you and help you get started. We look forward to seeing you on the courts!
Remember to check Playtime Scheduler for times. Times change as the temperature increases/decreases. Generally, the times are as follows:
October: 8-10 a.m.
November thru April: 9-11 a.m.
Summer: 7-9 a.m.

- Choose “North Scottsdale” as your Region.
- Next, go to “My Account” by using the navigation in the upper right.
- You will need to identify your level of play (note that for our Open Play ratings, a 2.5 player is a developing player with basic skills; a 3.5 player is a skilled, strong player who can play a soft game and understands strategy.)
- In My Account, select the “Location” tab at the top and it will list several courts in North Scottsdale. You will want to check “The Boulders” as one of your courts
- Finally, under MY Account you can choose to receive notifications about games by setting this in the “Notification” tab.
